Our laboratory at Stanford University combines cutting-edge synthetic biology, immunology, and machine learning to engineer next-generation T cell therapies for cancer and autoimmune diseases. We leverage advanced computational approaches to analyze patient data and design novel T cell therapies that could transform patient care. Our culture is fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative.

Graduate Students
We seek motivated PhD candidates with backgrounds in immunology, bioengineering, computational biology, or related fields. Successful candidates will have:
-
Strong molecular biology and cell culture experience, or expertise in machine learning and data science
-
Experience with programming (Python, R) and analysis of large-scale biomedical datasets
-
Interest in therapeutic development and translational research
-
Excellent collaborative and communication skills
Fellows
We have multiple openings for creative and driven postdoctoral researchers and clinical fellows. Ideal candidates will have:

-
PhD and/or MD in immunology, bioengineering, computational biology, or related fields
-
Expertise in either:
-
T cell biology, genetic engineering, and synthetic biology
-
Machine learning, computational modeling, and analysis of clinical datasets
-
-
Track record of productive research and peer-reviewed publications
-
Interest in T cell therapies and translational research
